Door de jaren heen hebben ze een doorleefde uitstraling gekregen, met markeringen, krassen en sporen die passen bij hun leeftijd en gebruik. Sommige exemplaren tonen oude ijzeren strips die destijds als reparatie zijn aangebracht en nu deel uitmaken van hun karakter. De poten worden stevig vergrendeld met twee ijzeren stangen die in de voorgeboorde gaten onder het blad worden geplaatst. Hierdoor staat de tafel stabiel, zowel binnen als buiten, en kun je hem bijvoorbeeld ook als tuintafel gebruiken voor een diner of feestje. Wanneer de tafel wordt ingeklapt, is hij slechts enkele centimeters dik, waardoor hij eenvoudig op te bergen is. Iedere tafel is uniek, omdat ze allemaal gemaakt zijn van gerecycled hout en licht kunnen verschillen in uiterlijk of afmetingen.
De klaptafels zijn gemaakt van FSC-gecertificeerd hout en metaal. Met het juiste onderhoud blijft de tafel jarenlang mooi en stevig. Voor gebruik binnen is het voldoende om de houten delen twee keer per jaar te behandelen met teakolie. Wie de tafel buiten gebruikt, brengt aan het begin en einde van het seizoen teakolie aan op het hout, terwijl de metalen onderdelen behandeld kunnen worden met lak- of lijnzaadolie. Voor extra gemak kun je de hele tafel licht insmeren met lijnzaadolie, wat het hout en metaal extra beschermt.

Love this book!!
I just finished *The Let Them Theory* by Mel Robbins, and I can honestly say it completely shifted my mindset. The concept is so simple—“let them”—but it’s incredibly powerful. Instead of stressing over what other people think, say, or do, this book teaches you to let go of that control and focus on yourself instead.

Four Stars: Insightful and Impactful Reading
Format: Hardcover
This book provides clarity in human relationships pertaining to workplace, family, and social circles. Author Mel Robbins explains the human tendency of needing to belong and bond, having personal freedoms and space to make informed choices, and providing coping strength to not feel over burdened due to work or perceived social obligations or human stereotypes. "Let Them", "Let Me" is a series of strategies/skills that help one regain focus on finite time and energies to have more productive personal relationships and work outcomes. The book teaches one to de-prioritize things and channel emotions into actionable goals to set healthy boundaries in selection of friends, career paths, and effectively resolving conflicts. Some chapters are overly redundant (and precludes a fifth star rating); however, it's a worthwhile book that definitively helps me set more impactful goals in 2026 and beyond.
