De wijnproducerende roeping van Pere Ventura is geworteld in een familietraditie die teruggaat tot de 19e eeuw. Toen hij in 1992 besloot om zijn gelijknamige wijnmakerij op te richten, deed hij dat ter ere van zijn voorouders. Pere's familie-erfgoed met Cava dateert uit 1872, toen zijn overgrootvader, Manuel Montserrat Font, hielp bij de productie van de eerste flessen cava in Codorniu. Tegenwoordig leeft de familietraditie voort op het wijndomein Pere Ventura, met als uiteindelijk doel Cava van de hoogste kwaliteit en elegantie te produceren. Met meer dan 150 hectare wijngaarden op het landgoed en nog eens 300 hectare onder langetermijncontract en volledig gecontroleerd door hun technische team, gelooft Pere Ventura dat kwaliteit begint in de wijngaarden. De Trepat-druif is een inheemse variëteit, exclusief voor het noorden van Spanje. De wijngaarden bevinden zich in Conca de Barberà, het perfecte huis voor de druivensoort Trepat. Deze wijngaarden zijn gemiddeld 20 jaar oud en groeien in de gevonden gebieden op hoogtes tussen 350 en 600 meter. De wijngaardpercelen liggen op het zuiden en bestaan uit overwegend kalkrijke bodems.Handmatige oogst voor Tresor Rose Cava
Het oogsten gebeurt volledig met de hand, waarna de druiven in de wijnmakerij ontsteeld en geperst worden. Hierop volgt een maceratie van de most voor de duur van 12 tot 18 uur om de kleur te extraheren en alle aroma’s van de druif te versterken. Vervolgens vindt de fermentatie plaats in roestvrijstalen tanks bij een temperatuur van 15 tot 17 graden. De tweede gisting vindt plaats op de fles in de wijnkelder, waar de wijn uiteindelijk gemiddeld 15 maanden rijpt. De Tresor Rose Cava heeft een helder en geurige neus met aroma’s van rood fruit zoals aardbeien, kersen en frambozen en wat lichte tonen van veroudering. In de mond is hij lekker fris met een zachte smaak van rood fruit.Shipping Notes

Hot twists

This will keep you on your toes toes in a hot twisty mess. You want to love, hate and root for whom is the big question. I’m quickly getting the next book because it ends on a cliffhanger and damn, it’s got me ready to tear into it!

Roxy Collins is the queen of omegaverse slow burn. This particular series is omegaverse with wolf shifters.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book! Lots of suspense and trying to figure out what is true and what's really going on. I loved it!
Pretty spicy once the action starts. Heats are pretty much always spicy. There is a little bit of male interaction, but not full-on shmex.
Definitely recommend.

Epic!!!!

Absolutely addicted from the first page. The twists and turns, world building and character development all come together for the perfect Omegaverse. And let's not forget that spice because knots are life and these are spectacular. Running for book #2 because that cliffhanger was torturous.

Fantastic writing and non-stop action

This is a promising, fantastic beginning to what will be a 4-book series. Some readers may be content to read only the first 2 books, but I think you'll find that the story is so good that you'll want to keep reading books 3 and 4.
Book 1 is about omega Elvana's introduction to the "Starling" brothers and their search for another missing person, Kelly. It's a bit of a rocky start, with deception and betrayal a key element. Hardly an auspicious beginning. Each member has their own path and purpose in the pack. Their interactions and the resulting narrative are so well-written that I found it difficult to put down.
There is a cliffhanger that will have you reaching for book 2 as you finish, so make sure you have it on hand.

Fun read

I'm not really into mafia books but I love Roxy Collin's other series so I decided to give it a try. It had the same great romance, spice, swoon-worthy characters and exciting plot that are her signature. Arben was my favorite, although it was a bit sudden how quickly he changed from ignoring her to wanting to be pack. There were almost too many twists/layers of lies to keep track of but I'm looking forward to reading the other books.
The only thing that detracted from the story for me was the need for a bit more proofreading. It was mentioned that Kelly is a female and male at different points, leading me to think she changed her mind at some point about the character's gender but didn't go back and edit it to align in all places. Like another reviewer pointed out, step siblings are different than half siblings. They are incorrectly referred to as step siblings because they (allegedly) share the same biological dad. There are a few other typos as well but those aren't a big deal.
