Éme kastanjehoning is een rauwe, koudgeslingerde en onbewerkte monoflorale kastanjehoning uit Santa Maria de Émeres in Trás-os-Montes, Noord-Portugal. Deze honing is afkomstig van een ambachtelijke Portugese imker in een bosrijk, landelijk gebied op circa 800 meter hoogte. Kastanjebomen bloeien maar enkele weken per jaar, waardoor echte kastanjehoning van nature seizoensgebonden en beperkt beschikbaar is. De honing wordt niet verhit en niet industrieel gefilterd. Het smaakprofiel is donker, rijk, vol en complex, met tonen van kastanje, hout en karamel en een lange, licht bitterzoete afdronk. Geschikt voor brood, yoghurt, kaas, noten, dressings, marinades, desserts en warme gerechten met bijvoorbeeld paddenstoelen, geroosterde groenten of kip. Verpakt in een pot van 400 gram.
