Zo kan Homer zich opblazen tot hij een enorme gele en vooral domme bal is en kan Bart zweven. Het verhaal in The Simpsons Game is speciaal voor dit spel door de schrijvers van de TV-serie geschreven. De game zit dan ook bomvol bekende personages (meer dan 100) en onbekende personages (meer dan 50) en zit uiteraard ook vol met de typische Simpsons-humor. In The Simpsons Game kun je dan ook satire en parodieën op belangrijke gebeurtenissen, computerspellen en de popcultuur verwachten.

In de zestien levels in en buiten Springfield speel je altijd met twee familieleden van The Simpsons en samenwerken is de sleutel tot succes. Het is altijd mogelijk te wisselen tussen de twee personages die je in een level tot je beschikking hebt om hun vaardigheden maximaal te benutten. Uiteraard is The Simpsons Game ook volledig met zijn tweeën speelbaar. Een tweede speler kan op elk moment de controller oppakken en de controle over het tweede personage overnemen. Samen vecht je je een weg langs hordes vijanden en moet je regelmatig samenwerken om puzzels op te lossen. Elk level dat je hebt uitgespeeld kun je vervolgens herspelen in de Time Challenges. Hierbij is het de bedoeling dat je de levels zo snel mogelijk opnieuw uitspeelt. In de Wii-versie van de game zitten bovendien verschillende minigames zoals Bite Night and Bart Wings.

The toys body is very durable, but the squeakers were broken within minutes without tearing it apart

This is a squeaky dog toy that was supposedly very durable. I have to say that the squeakers are not durable and were immediately destroyed by my husky. The actual body of the toy is very durable and they were not able to rip it apart. They were able to destroy the squeakers without damaging the actual exterior of this toy. The toy itself is pretty soft except where it’s made of rope. Since it didn’t have any stuffing come out I will say that it was durable enough for chewing. This would be suitable for large larger dogs and even smaller dogs. I do feel this is a good value for the money because they were not able to rip it apart. I just wish the squeakers were more durable inside because there’s no way to replace those.

Our dogs new favorite toy

Our golden doodle loves this toy. He isn't a highly aggressive chewer necessarily, but he has been known to destroy toys by chewing on them and such. This one, so far, has lasted over a month or so. It has turned out to be his go to toy when he's wanting to play with one. The squeaker isn't that loud and it's not that easy to find. I like that legs are rope material and makes it good for tug of war, which Max loves to do. The material is pretty sturdy and it is a good weight. Sometimes when the toys are too heavy Max won't catch them in the air, this one he catches in the air just fine. It's very cute and I think it will hold up just fine to our Max's level of chewing. I felt the price was quite reasonable considering how much he likes it.

Great wrestle or chewing toy for your pet.

My 4 legged "little boy" loves to play, even at 10 years old but is getting a tad "over the hill" for chasing a ball. This toy has brought him (and me) many hours of fun as it can be played with in the house without chance breaking something (it is soft) and was fairly well thought out - being made with the "squeeker" in one end, and a couple of ropes sewn in to provide a "tug of war" when he is really feeling frisky. I've had it around 6 months and it has only incurred minor damage and really just normal wear and tear considering what it has gone thru. A great toy for the price that your pet may play with by itself, or one you can use to wrestle with it so you can be part of the action. When this one is finally torn apart, I will be buying another one (if the dog out lasts it), or I will bury my pet with this one if it out lasts him. It's that special.
