Aimé Sabon, zijn zoon Christophe en zijn dochter Isabelle zijn buitengewoon getalenteerde wijnmakers die zich compleet richten op de hoogst mogelijk kwaliteit. De wijn zijn daarom mijlenver onderscheiden van wat vaak "Côtes du Rhône" of "Châteauneuf-du-Pape" wordt genoemd. Daarom krijgen ze regelmatig hoge tot zeer hoge cijfers van verschillende wijncritici, waaronder Robert Parker. Tegenwoordig is dit bedrijf een van de absolute koplopers in dit gebied en zijn wijnen behoren tot de beste die in hun respectievelijke klasse in internationale vergelijking te vinden zijn. Viognier is een van de vlaggenschip wijnstokken aan de Rhône en wordt bijna uitsluitend in deze wijnstreek verbouwd door de Franse wijnbouw. De druif was bijna volledig verdwenen na de phylloxera-crisis aan het einde van de 19e eeuw - in 1968 werd in Frankrijk slechts 14 hectare aangeplant met Viognier. Toen de wijnen van de Rhône halverwege de jaren 80 een renaissance beleefden, profiteerde ook de Viognier ervan. Tegenwoordig is de bevolking in Frankrijk weer meer dan 6.000 hectare. In begin jaren 90 begon de behoefte naar Viognier enorm te stijgen. Deze druifsoort is buitengewoon onderscheidend, maar heeft ook een zeldzaamheidswaarde.De vinificatie van de Domaine de la Janasse Viognier
Na een pneumatische persing volgt een temperatuur gecontroleerde gisting. Na de fermentatie rijpt de wijn gedurende zes maanden "sur lie" op eiken vaten (25 procent nieuw hout). Deze Domaine de la Janasse Viognier wordt klassiek gemaakt en blinkt uit door de combinatie van kracht en finesse. Deze Domaine de la Janasse heeft in de geur hinten van honing, abrikoos en perzik. Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters.
That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception.
SPOILER:
The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured.
I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Great book

I absolutely feel in love with all 4 characters!!! The bedroom scenes were 🌋🌡🔥🔥🔥. I couldn't put this book down!!! I'm hooked for the whole series Book 2 here I come!!!!! Its a fun easy book and story to read!!

Fun with a late blooming omega

I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book.
Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray.
I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.
