Quercus palustris 'Isabel' , ook wel bekend als de moeraseik 'Isabel', is een opvallende en mooie variëteit van de Quercus palustris-soort, behorende tot het geslacht Quercus en de familie Fagaceae. Deze eikensoort is geliefd vanwege zijn prachtige bladkleuren in de herfst en zijn majestueuze, opgaande groeiwijze.

Het is een dwergvorm, de 'Isabel' blijft dan ook vrij klein, hij wordt ongeveer 2,5 á 3 meter hoog en breed. Zijn vorm is compact en bol- tot kegelvormig met een dichte vertakking. 

Quercus palustris 'Isabel' is winterhard en kan goed omgaan met koude temperaturen. Deze eikensoort is goed bestand tegen vorst en kan temperaturen verdragen tot -25°C. Het is een winterharde boom die gedijt in gematigde klimaten.
