Deze schaakset combineert onze uitstekende zwart geëboniseerde Victoria-schaakstukken op reglementaire 9,5 cm met ons in Europa vervaardigde wenge- en berkenhouten schaakbord van 50 cm.

De schaakstukken zijn prachtig vervaardigd uit gegradeerd buxushout, zijn dubbel gewogen en hebben een uitstekende balans. Er zit gratie in de slanke verhoudingen van de Victoria-schaakstukken, die zorgvuldig gepolijst zijn met natuurlijke was. De uniformiteit van de stukken is subliem: alle vier de paarden zijn exact gelijk, en voor deze prijs zult u geen schaakset vinden met betere consistentie. Wat u misschien ook niet zult vinden tegen deze prijs, zijn de subtiele verschillen die de essentie van handgemaakte schaakstukken vormen.
