Ingrediënten
actief bestanddeel: L-ascorbinezuur; vulstof: microkristalijne cellulose; actief bestanddeel: quercetine dihydraat; glansmiddelen: hydroxypropylcellulose, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose; bamboe-extract (Bambusa bambos); antiklontermiddel: magnesiumstearaat; bevochtigingsmiddel: glycerol.
Gebruik
Geschikt voor volwassenen en kinderen vanaf 12 jaar: 1 à 2 maal daags 1 zuigtablet.
Personen met ernstig nierlijden of risico op nierstenen dienen vooraf hun geneesheer te raadplegen. Nierpatiënten wordt aangeraden niet meer dan 200 mg vitamine C per dag in te nemen gelet op het risico op hyperoxalemie.
Voor kinderen onder de 12 jaar en voor wie liever geen tabletten slikt, is er Pure C® beschikbaar onder de vorm van een zuigtablet met lekkere sinaassmaak.

Tiny print

I bought this as a gift. She loves it, but the print is terribly small and the hard cover won't lay flat. I'm going to return it and order one that she can read without glasses and a magnifying glass.

Meaningful curriculum that I highly recommend.
Format: Paperback
Heard about this book from a friend who is a teacher. Her entire school is using this curriculum and seeing great results. I bought a copy and the poster set to try for myself. Students loved it! We had amazing discussions and my students' kindness level increased by 100 percent. I appreciate that there is a curriculum for public schools that takes the students to a deeper level of understanding about themselves and others. More of my colleagues are interested in this material and I think we will be doing a book study soon. Hoping it will be adopted by our curriculum department for the entire district.
Pros: Easy to use,, researched based (not fluffy), poster set to support, nice work pages for students to use during the lesson, age appropriate, meaningful connections made between myself, students and between the students and their families. Well received by community.
Cons: Lessons were slightly longer than 35 minutes but I added my own activities for additional interest. Not a good curriculum for educators who only want to focus on academics.

Some of the scripting is rather good, especially for safe touch

I was rather excited about this book initially. The work pages are done well for their appropriate age levels and I felt the lessons were okay. Some of the scripting is rather good, especially for safe touch. However, it is mostly seat work. I was looking for something that would work with all learning styles better and include a few interacting activities, maybe even a game. I have quite a few kinesthetic learners so I have had to come up with my own activities to go along with it.
