Dominio de Longaz

Dominio de Longaz is een familiewijnhuis in de streek Cariñena, iets onder Zaragoza.
Het wijnhuis bezit 70 hectare wijngaard. Alles wordt met de hand geplukt en in kistjes gedaan met een maximum capaciteit van 15 kg druiven. Naast de 3 druivensoorten hierboven genoemd telen ze nog een 4e niet onbelangrijke soort, de Garnacha.

De Longus zoals afgebeeld op de foto is heden, 7 mei 2026, uitverkocht. Wel hebben we een andere 2013 van deze producent en voor € 13,50 in plaats van € 14,50. Na 12 jaar rijping is het verschil eigenlijk niet meer te proeven dus ga rustig uw gang.. 

De wijngaarden liggen op een hoogte van 550 meter, grondsoort alluviale steentjes en gravel. Dit zorgt voor een lagere opbrengst vanwege kleinere druifjes maar wel met een grotere concentratie en hogere intensiteit qua smaak. De vinificatie is heel apart; onze nationale wijnmaker in Frankrijk Ilja Gort en zoon schijnen dat ook zo te doen, namelijk een koude pre-fermentatie in eiken vaten. Ook niet onbelangrijk: als het hele wijnmaakproces achter de rug is gaat de wijn ongefilterd de fles in hetgeen de smaak ten goede komt.

For the price, I actually think this is a very good value, especially if you have multiple dogs or dogs that enjoy plush comfort toys but still like squeakers and interactive play. It arrived quickly, packaged well, and looked exactly like the listing photos upon arrival.
