De Lord of Contagion and Blightlord Terminators set brengt een compacte maar ijzersterke kern van Death Guard Terminators naar het slagveld. Onder leiding van Lord Felthius, een Lord of Contagion in rottend Terminator armour, marcheert deze kleine elitegroep onverstoorbaar door vijandelijk vuur om de zegeningen van Nurgle van dichtbij te verspreiden.

Taaie elite voor Death Guard

Deze set is ideaal voor spelers die hun Death Guard-leger willen uitbreiden met een robuuste commandogroep. De Lord of Contagion vormt een dreigende melee-leider, terwijl zijn drie Blightlord Terminator bodyguards de rol van taaie, zwaar bepantserde infanterie vervullen.

Samen passen ze perfect bij de klassieke Death Guard-speelstijl: langzaam oprukken, objectives onder druk zetten en de tegenstander dwingen om veel vuurkracht te besteden aan modellen die niet zomaar verdwijnen.

Lord Felthius en zijn Tainted Cohort

Lord Felthius is gewapend met een manreaper scythe en heeft een sterk karaktervol uiterlijk, met verrot Terminator armour, een plague censer en allerlei Nurgle-details. Zijn drie Blightlord Terminators zijn uitgerust voor close-range geweld en vuile gevechten in het midden van de tafel.

De bodyguards bevatten onder andere een Terminator met combi-bolter en balesword, een Terminator met combi-bolter en bubotic axe, en een Terminator met plague spewer. Daarmee voelt de set als een kleine maar thematische Death Guard-aanvalsgroep.

Schilderplezier met roest, rot en Nurglings

Voor schilders is deze set bijzonder sfeervol. De modellen zitten vol verweerde bepantsering, builen, tentakels, roestige wapens, gescheurde mantels en besmette details. De meegeleverde Nurglings en base-details geven extra humor en smerigheid aan de miniaturen.

Denk aan groen verweerd pantser, roestige metalen, gele pus, paarse kneuzingen, glanzend slijm en modderige bases met giftige plassen of kapotte industriële vloeren. Door hun compacte aantal zijn deze modellen ook zeer geschikt als klein schilderproject met veel karakter.

The Govee RGBIC Light Bars are pretty decent overall. The lights are bright and add a nice atmosphere behind the TV. The 15-inch bars fit well for a TV setup in the 45–70 inch range, and the different placement options make it easy to set them up the way you want. They do have some regular lighting settings you can use without connecting to the app, which is convenient if you just want simple colors. Setup is fairly easy and they look clean behind the TV. That said, I do wish there were more options available without having to rely on the app. The basic settings work fine, but it would be nice to have a few more built-in modes. Overall, they’re solid lights that look good and work well, especially if you like adding ambient lighting to your TV area.

Great not only for TV Backlighting, but shelf lighting too!

Right off the bat, these light bars are vibrant, colorful, and have a great variety of different colors and patterns. However, I used them for a little bit of a different purpose than what they were created for... I had previously purchased the TV backlight strips from Govee, and wanted to find lighting for my shelves within the Govee ecosystem. Traditional light strips wouldn't really work unless I spliced them, which I wanted to avoid. Enter these light bars. I bought 2 sets of them, and thanks to the (quite strong) mounting options, was able to mount and angle these lights downwards to create a really cool effect over my displays. I wasn't sure how well it was going to work, but the end results speak for themselves. It looks terrific when used in this role. The cables are very long and manageable too, I was able to run them down the support beams of the shelves with some mounting clips without issue. The only negative comes down to the app itself. It's a bit overwhelming and confusing to use at first, but once you get the basic functions figured out, there's little issue. Still, I feel the user experience could be improved on the app. For example, I had to go in and create my own shortcut function to turn on all my lights at once, then make a separate one to turn them all off at once, as opposed to there being a single master on/off button in the app. It's small things that can make the app tedious to work with. Regardless, I feel that overall Govee continuous to knock it out of the park. The lights are bright, customizable, and add a ton of ambience to the room. I hope Govee continues to expand on their different room lighting options and keep the level of quality they are putting out now.
