Tegen de achtergrond van de belle époque, de broedkamer van de wereld zoals wij die kennen, vertelt Dirk Van Boxem in Morgenster een verhaal van persoonlijke emancipatie en maatschappelijke ontvoogding, en van de eeuwige strijd om de liefde. Dirk Van Boxem (1966) was en is IT manager, consultant, programmadirecteur, change manager en coach. Hij publiceerde verhalen in De Brakke Hond, gedichten in Het Gezeefde Gedicht, en houdt met Bijgekleurd een blog bij. Morgenster is zijn debuut.
