Purple label with "Mfd. by Capitol" Runouts have GOL and the Winchester marking (· ─◁) on side A and C, as well as the ☒ square and "Jay" signature on side C, indicating lacquer by Jay Maynard. "Record 1", "Record 2" designations and large Capitol Logos at the top. Non-embossed sleeve, "The BEATLES" printed on cover in gray text. This edition is NOT numbered. Label variant "Produced by George Martin" uses two lines. Came with 4 portraits (thin paper, no cat#). Gatefold sleeve with openings on the side. Label / Sleeve differences: Track B5, label: Rocky Racoon, sleeve: Rocky Raccoon. Track B7, label: Why Don’t We Do It In The Road, sleeve: Why Don’t We Do It In The Road?
