Aluminiumanoden worden voornamelijk gebruikt in zeewater. Kan ook worden gebruikt in brak water als de weerstand niet te hoog is (< 1 Ωm). In het geval van zeewater is aluminium echter efficiënter en duurzamer dan zink en magnesium. Vergeleken met zink is ongeveer 1/3 van het gewicht nodig om hetzelfde oppervlak te beschermen. Het rendement van een aluminium anode is hoog, ongeveer 90%. Al onze anodes zijn gegoten op basis van zwaartekracht voor de beste kwaliteit.
