Wil je een korte sessie roken en gebruik je een smokerbox dan kun je deze, wanneer je klaar, bent zo tussen de kolen uit pakken zonder al te veel gedoe. Strooi je het rookhout los tussen dan kolen en ben je klaar met roken; ja zie ze dan maar eens gemakkelijk tussen de kolen uit te vissen...

Wil je koud roken? Ook dan is de rookbox onmisbaar. Je doet namelijk de rookmot in de smokerbox, deze zet je naast je gerecht op het rooster en klaar ben je! Hoe simpel kan het zijn.

Wil je roken op een gas of elektrische barbecue, dan zal je altijd gebruik moeten maken van een smokerbox om er voor te zorgen dat de rookhout snippers goed hun werk kunnen doen.

Voor het beste rook resultaat is het verstandig om de houtsnippers voor gebruik ongeveer 10 minuten te laten weken in een bakje water. En nog belangrijker; neem de tijd en zorg dat de rook goed in de barbecue blijft zodat de rook goed in het gerecht kan trekken en al zijn smaken tot zijn recht laten komen.

Apple (appel), geeft een subtiele, zoetige rooksmaak. Deze rooksmaak gaat heel goed samen met gevogelte en varken. Vooral spareribs gerookt met apple rookhout is een aanrader!

Beuken (beech) rookhout geeft een milde rooksmaak die heel breed inzetbaar is. Eigenlijk gaat beech samen met alle denkbare gerechten, van vlees, gevogelte, vis tot en met groente. Het is daarnaast door de milde rooksmaak ook heel geschikt als je net begint met roken.

I like the chair a lot. It’s very sleek and modern. One problem I have with it tho is the width of the seat. I am 5’9 and not necessarily a petite woman and when I do sit cross cross I seem to hang off the front. I do like that I can sit cross cross even with the sides of the chair up but the fact that I hang off the front is a bit annoying. I like it shorter because I’m able to sit sideways and have one side of the chair up and the other down and using the back rest as an arm rest. I did just buy it and am slightly concerned for it to not last purely because the manual said not to use it if it squeaked of creaked and it does both of those things. But I will still be using it until it breaks or it’s life span ends. It also seems very easy to clean the crevices are very short and you are able to wipe things out with ease.
