Dit werd aanvankelijk gevierd in augustusada, maar nadat de Spanjaarden hun intrede maakten, werd de Dag van de Doden verplaatst naar de katholieke feestdagen Allerheiligen en Allerzielen en zowel door de katholieken als door de inheemse bevolking gevierd. In Mexico geloven ze dat de doden elk jaar weer op hetzelfde tijdstip bij hen langskomen en voelen zich dan herenigd met hun overleden dierbaren. Men doet er dan ook alles aan om er elk jaar weer een groot en liefdevol feest van te maken. De Mexicanen herdenken overleden familieleden en vrienden met eten en met spullen die de overledenen het liefst om zich heen hadden toen ze nog leefden.

Shirt Without Buttons

I bought about seven of these shirts. They are soft and very comfortable to wear. However, it appears to be a major quality control issue with these shirts, regardless of the color. The buttons keep falling off the shirt on their own. Even when I wash them in the washing machine, on delicate. And the most frustrating thing about the whole ordeal, I have no extra buttons to replace those that fell off. I have shirts that I have had for years, and the buttons are still on the shirts. What's more, they each have extra buttons, one small and one regular size. I guess since the shirt is made in China, they make money by using low quality thread and not putting any replacement buttons. You be the judge, to buy or not to buy, if you can deal with the buttons coming off and nothing to replace them with. The choice is yours.
