Het Starboard Windsurf Board Carve Grijs is het iconische freeride windsurfboard van Starboard, uitgevoerd in de lichtgewicht Starlite Carbon constructie en verkrijgbaar in vijf volumes: 109, 119, 129, 139 en 149 liter. De Starlite Carbon opbouw combineert parabolische UD carbon-versterkingen met een driekwart houten dekllaag voor een uitstekende balans tussen stijfheid, gewicht en slagvastheid. De parabolische koolstofvezels lopen langs de rails en onderkant van het board en voorkomen torsie en lengtebuiging, wat direct rijgedrag en een hoog energierendement bij iedere golfaanpak oplevert. Het enhanced deck concave stuurt je gewicht actief naar de rails en geeft extra aandrijving en stabiliteit bij het planeren.

Het double-step tail design vergroot het planeeroppervlak bij lage snelheid en laat het board bij hogere snelheden losser en wendbaarder rijden. De 10mm dikke footpads met diamond groove patroon absorberen trillingen en bieden grip in alle standen. Met zowel inboard als outboard footstrap-posities pas je het board aan op jouw rijstijl en windcondities. Iedere maat wordt geleverd inclusief een Drake Freeride fin die specifiek afgestemd is op het volume en de afmetingen van dat board. De 109L (238 x 67 cm) tot en met de 149L (247 x 80 cm) maken de Carve geschikt voor een brede groep windsurfers, van gevorderde rijders die wendbaarheid zoeken tot zwaardere riders en beginners die snel willen planeren.

My reason for 4 stars is because the zipper barely opens and my husband and I tried everything short of ruining the pillow. In the end I had to stuff extra stuffing into a pretty small hole. Nothing seems wrong with the zipper but I saw another review said they couldn’t add more filling. If they fix that issue then I’d rate it 5. Yes it is soft but it doesn’t go flat and if you adjust and add some more under your head it doesn’t shift. I do recommend if you like a plush pillow.

THESE PILLOWS, complete with the Beckham cooling pillowcases are chef's kiss. They feel like they’ve been in the fridge. Literally. Now do they stay that way, of course not. But they’re cool enough for me to fall asleep. And if I wake, I use the other side. And if I keep another on standby, I am literally finding the cool side of the pillow all night long. I’m not exaggerating either. These pillows are cool WITH the cooling pillowcases. You can’t use a pillow protector though, even if it’s cotton. It will ruin the effect. And you must use the cooling pillowcases. Do both, and you won’t be disappointed.

Purchased this as I was looking to replace tbe previous Beckham hotel pillows I had purchased before. When I saw "newer model available" I ordered it. Wish I had just ordered the same ones as before. First off this was only 1 pillow, not the 2 pack. Since I was only replacing 1 pillow I decided to use it. Huge mistake, my neck has been sore almost everyday. The support of this pillow is terrible, even with trying to added and remove some fill to adjust it. Nothing seems to make a difference. Avoid it and order a different model. Wish I had sent it back for a refund when I got it.
