Claus voelde zich hier echter niet op zijn gemak doordat het dorp werd overheerst door monniken. Hij besloot wederom te verhuizen en kwam terecht in Mulhouse. Een protestantse stad waarin de leefomgeving vrij was. Hier leerde hij ook zijn echtgenote kennen waarna er maar liefst negen kinderen kwamen. Één van de zonden van Claus was Nicolas die in 1810 het bedrijf over nam. Hij plantte twintig hectare wijngaarden aan en liet de familie kelder moderniseren. Vandaag de dag is Domaines Schlumberger nog steeds in familie handen en dat zal ook zeker nog lang zo blijven met deze gedreven en gepassioneerde familie.Klassiek rode Alsace wijn
Een van de pareltjes van dit wijnhuis is deze prachtige Pinot Noir. De reden dat de Pinot Noir het zo ontzettend goed doet in de Alsace is dat het klimaat vergelijkbaar is met de Bourgongne. Hier komt de Pinot Noir van oorsprong vandaan. Niet te warm en zeker ook niet te koud. De oude wijngaarden waarop de Pinot Noir stokken zijn aangeplant komen van twee verschillende percelen. Het grootste deel is afkomstig van het Bollenberg perceel waarbij de ondergrond voornamelijk uit kalksteen bestaat. Het kleinere deel is afkomstig van het Saering perceel waarbij er meer mergel in de bodem te vinden is. Als de druiven optimaal rijp zijn vind de handmatige oogst plaats. Dit kan per perceel verschillen. Voor de vinificatie van het prachtige geperste sap vindt er een maceratie plaats van twee weken. Daarna volgt er een rijping van 10 maanden in traditionele vaten en dat geeft de kenmerkende fruitigheid meer body en een complexere structuur.De smaak van deze Schlumberger Pinot Noir
Het verbluffende en klassieke eindresultaat mag er dan ook zeker zijn na heel deze inspanningen in de wijngaarden en de Winery. Voorzichtig ontkurken wij de fles waarbij al mooie aroma’s de weg naar buiten aan het zoeken zijn. De mooie helder robijn rode kleur geeft ons de bevestiging dat we te maken hebben met een Pinot Noir wijn. In de geur noteerden wij aroma’s van rood fruit als bosbessen en bramen. Deze voerende boventoon, met daarnaast een licht florale indruk van rozen. Door het glas goed te walsen worden deze geuren versterkt en ontstaan er ook indrukken van kersen en zwarte bessen, evenals een subtiele groene toets. De smaak is zacht en licht met duidelijke indrukken van rood en zwart fruit. De lange en smaakvolle afdronk maken deze wijn helemaal af. Drink deze rode wijn zeker niet te warm, denk aan een temperatuur tussen de 14 en 16 graden.Shipping Notes

Perfect for Acne-Prone Skin!
This serum has honestly been a great addition to my routine for redness and post-acne marks. The texture is lightweight, hydrating, and doesn’t feel sticky or heavy on my oily/acne-prone skin.
I have sensitive skin with a focus on barrier protection, and this didn’t irritate my skin at all. It layers beautifully with the rest of my skincare and leaves my skin looking calmer and smoother over time. AND, it doesn’t have a smell!!

6-Month Update: Still a staple for sensitive, acne-prone skin

I originally reviewed this ampoule when I first started using it, and now after about six months of consistent use (morning and night), I feel confident giving a more long-term update.
I have sensitive, acne-prone, combination skin, and this has remained one of the most reliable products in my routine. The texture is still one of my favorite things about it — very lightweight, absorbs quickly, and layers well under moisturizer and sunscreen without pilling.
Over time, I’ve noticed:
Less visible redness
More balanced oil production in my T-zone
Fewer irritation flare-ups when introducing new products
No clogged pores or breakouts from this formula
It doesn’t feel heavy or sticky, even in humid weather. I’ve continued repurchasing and even keep it on subscription because it consistently performs without causing sensitivity.

Healed my barrier so fast

I received this ampoule yesterday and I'm already leaving a 5 star review after 2 uses because it just worked so well. I bought it because I've recently incorporated the Timeless 20% Vitamin C into my routine and that + my tretinoin made my skin drier than I've ever felt it before, even gently swiping a cotton pad with micellar would sting on some parts of my face. As soon as this ampoule arrived I applied it to clean skin and layered squalane on top (my moisturizer was burning as well.) This product did not sting my face AT ALL. It instead felt immediately soothing and hydrating. When I woke up this morning almost all of my redness was gone, my skin didn't feel tight or irritated, and my skin tone looked so even and glowy. I never thought a product, especially such a simply formulated one, could heal my barrier so quickly but that's exactly what it did and I can already tell it's a repeat buy. If you have redness prone sensitive skin and/or you use several high strength actives, this ampoule is a must have and it might be the key for anyone struggling to tolerate high strength retinoids. I got the largest size bottle for $15 on sale and it's seriously one of the most affordable and effective skincare products I've ever had in my routine.

Safe, Lightweight, Hydrating – Perfect for sensitive, super oily, acne-prone skin

I care most about the ingredients, and this Madagascar Centella Ampule is excellent — all the ingredients are safe, with no potential harm to your health, and it’s Yuka app approved with a 100/100 safety score. I feel confident using it on my sensitive, super oily, acne-prone skin.
It’s super lightweight, absorbs quickly, and is not sticky at all — after applying, you just feel comfortable hydration. Even after a few hours, my skin doesn’t get oily, unlike some other serums I’ve used. It helps calm my skin and restore the barrier, which is perfect for my skin type. Even when I have acne wounds, it doesn’t irritate or sting — it’s extremely gentle. For sensitive, super oily, acne-prone skin like mine, it works wonderfully.
Living in Utah, one of the driest states in the U.S., this serum keeps my skin hydrated even in very dry conditions, and a little goes a long way — 1–1.5 drops cover my face and neck. Using more can make my skin slightly oily, so just the right amount works perfectly. For someone with dry skin, results may differ, but for my skin type, it works beautifully.
It’s also super affordable, and I’m glad it’s available on Amazon, with occasional great deals at Costco. I appreciate that it’s accessible at this price because this serum helps my skin a lot — very gentle on my acne-prone, sensitive, super oily skin.
The serum is super easy to apply with the dropper, which keeps other things from getting into the bottle — it’s perfect for easy, hygienic application. Just note that the bottle is glass, so be careful — it may break if dropped.
I’ve only been using it for three weeks, but it’s already a staple. I currently use one bottle, and the other two are extra for long-term use, especially since I got them on a great deal. This is now my main hydration serum, and I’ll update after longer use if needed.

Very impressed

Really impressed by this serum! Got this to soothe my skin after overdoing it with too many different “actives”, and it gently and quickly got rid of redness and flaking, restored my skin barrier, and left my skin so moisturized and supple that I didn’t even feel like I needed lotion or cream afterwards. And it’s a GENEROUSLY sized glass bottle, too! I will definitely be trying other products from this brand!
