Het Kokowall tuinscherm met verzinkt stalen frame combineert een natuurlijke uitstraling met optimale privacy en effectieve geluidsdemping. Het slanke U-frame van verzinkt staal zorgt voor een strakke, moderne afwerking en is uitstekend bestand tegen weersinvloeden.

In tegenstelling tot traditionele houten schuttingen, die geluid weerkaatsen, absorbeert dit scherm omgevingsgeluid. Hierdoor ontstaat een rustige en comfortabele buitenruimte. Dankzij de dichte structuur is het scherm volledig zichtdicht en ideaal als erfafscheiding of zichtscherm.

Constructie en materiaal

Het scherm bestaat uit een verzinkt stalen U-frame (40 × 35 × 1,25 mm) en is gevuld met buizen die zijn omwikkeld met duurzame kokosvezels. Twee met kokosband omwikkelde stalen stangen zorgen voor extra stabiliteit en houden de vulling stevig op zijn plaats. De constructie is robuust, strak afgewerkt en geschikt voor langdurig buitengebruik.

De verzinkte afwerking beschermt het staal tegen corrosie en maakt het scherm onderhoudsarm en duurzaam.

Montage

De schermen worden bevestigd met RVS montagehoekjes en zelftappende schroeven. Plaatsing is mogelijk tussen hardhouten palen of stalen H-profielpalen (IPE) of JB metallic palen. Voor een optimale levensduur adviseren wij het scherm enkele centimeters boven het maaiveld te plaatsen. Een betonband of betonplank kan worden toegepast voor extra stabiliteit en een nette afwerking.

Natuurlijk begroeibaar

De kokosvezels vormen een ideale ondergrond voor klimplanten. Luchtwortels hechten zich snel, waardoor binnen enkele jaren een volledig begroeide, groene erfafscheiding ontstaat. Niet-hechtende klimplanten kunnen eenvoudig worden bevestigd met de meegeleverde plantkrammen.

Duurzaam en milieuvriendelijk

De schermen zijn opgebouwd uit gerecyclede kunststof buizen (vrij van pvc) en kokosvezels van de kokosnoot. Deze vezels hebben vergelijkbare eigenschappen als hardhout, maar zijn hernieuwbaar en daarmee een milieuvriendelijke keuze. Begroeid dragen de schermen bij aan biodiversiteit en een groenere leefomgeving.

Onderhoud

Door zonlicht kunnen de kokosvezels na verloop van tijd iets lichter van kleur worden, zonder verlies van de natuurlijke uitstraling. Voor extra bescherming kunnen onbegroeide delen eens per twee jaar worden behandeld met tuinbeits of Bangkirai-olie.
