Dit is de Duitse pijp Aristolochia durior, een klimmer voor buiten met schitterend Catalpa-achtig blad. Een bladverliezende klimplant die een maximale hoogte van ongeveer 7 tot 8 meter kan bereiken. Hierdoor geschikt om grote delen van de tuin, pergola, schutting, gevel muur of trellis te bekleden. Het zijn winterharde tuinplanten en bloeien jaarlijks in mei en juni bijzondere grote bloemen.

Wij leveren 1001 soorten klimplanten in heel Nederland en Vlaanderen tot aan uw tuin. Vormt op een pergola een goede combinatie met wintergroene Sterjasmijn, groenblijvende Klimop 'Hedera', Hopplant 'Humulus Lupupus', Blauweregen 'Wisteria' of Klimdruif 'Vitis'. Combineer verder met een kant-en-klaar borderpakket als onderbeplanting.

Duitse pijp - Aristolochia durior standplaats en aanplanting

De Duitse pijp 'Aristolochia' soorten zijn ook geschikt ter vervanging voor de Hedera klimplanten. Het zijn sterke klimplanten die zowel op een plek in de schaduw als op een plek in de halfschaduw en volle zon groeien. De bodem dient relatief vochtig te zijn, vooral in de zomermaanden. Gebruik bij het aanplanten Universele aanplantgrond om de bodemkwaliteit direct te verbeteren.

Groeiwijze Duitse pijp - Aristolochia durior

Alle soorten uit dit geslacht groeien door middel van ranken langs de pergola, schutting, gevel, muur of trellis. Zo ook deze Duitse pijp - Aristolochia macrophylla. De ranken kunt u opbinden met het bindmateriaal van Yarinde. Deze kunt u gelijk mee bestellen.

I’m a really tough pillow critic and have a hard time finding one I actually like. With that said, this pillow was better than a lot of others I’ve tried—mainly because you can remove some of the latex shavings to adjust the firmness. I ended up taking out about 20% (do it over a big trash can because the shavings can get messy!). When it arrived it was too firm for me, which is why I had to take some filling out. Even after adjusting it, it’s still not my absolute favorite pillow, but I do use it every night as a “hug” pillow and it works great for that. I think people who aren’t as picky as I am will probably really enjoy it, especially since you can customize the amount of latex to get it just right. I’d give it 3.5 stars, but rounded up to 4.
