Het kussen kan ook als koudkompres worden gebruikt. Verwijder de buitenste kussensloop en plaats het oogkussen in de vriezer in een afgesloten plastic zak. Laat 30 minuten afkoelen voor gebruik. Het kan ook 30 seconden in de magnetron worden opgewarmd als warmte gewenst is.
