Hieronder meer over de wijnmaker en zijn achtergrond:

Bakonyi Péter, Villányi Franc oftewel Cabernet Franc. De regio Villányi ligt helemaal in het zuiden van Hongarije tegen de Kroatische grens aan en nog onder de bekendere regio Pecs.
Peter is een gedreven wijnmaker die eigenlijk helemaal niet in de wijn wilde gaan maar gaandeweg enthousiast werd over de goede mogelijkheden om daar wijn te maken.
Samen met Josef Kerl maken ze wijn van biologisch geteelde druiven in hun winery. Ze bezitten slechts 5 hectare wijngaard in de plaatsen Siklós en Nagytótfalu.
