Deze muurbekleding is goed lichtbestendig en afwasbaar, wat het onderhoud erg gemakkelijk maakt. Wanneer het behang verwijderd moet worden, kan dit volledig droog gebeuren. Bovendien voldoet de Silkx van Arte Contract aan de brandnorm B-s2, d0 / Class A. Het behang is samengesteld uit contract vinyl op geweven textieldrager en kan dubbel doorsneden worden.
