Bernard Villemot (1911-1989) was een Franse graficus en illustrator, vooral bekend om zijn iconische reclameaffiches. Villemot begon zijn carrière met het maken van affiches voor de Franse Nationale Spoorwegen (SNCF), maar werd al snel een veelgevraagd ontwerper voor grote merken als Perrier, Orangina, Bally schoenen en Air France.
Villemots stijl wordt gekenmerkt door felle kleuren, eenvoudige vormen en sterke grafische composities. Hij verwerkte vaak humoristische of surrealistische elementen in zijn ontwerpen. Villemot's werk hielp de visuele taal van reclame in het midden van de 20e eeuw te definiëren, hierdoor zijn zijn posters nu zeer geliefd onder verzamelaars.

Villemot's style is characterised by bright colours, simple shapes and strong graphic compositions. He often incorporated humorous or surrealistic elements in his designs. Villemot's work helped define the visual language of advertising in the mid-20th century, as a result of which his posters are now very popular among collectors.
