Rosso rubino il colore, intenso e caratterizzato da evidenti riflessi violacei. Il naso è impostato su una bella nota fruttata, che richiama la marasca, lamarena, la melagrana e i piccoli frutti a bacca rossa in genere, in seconda battuta seguiti da sottili sfumature di spezie dolci. Il palato è scorrevole e di medio corpo, attraversato da una gradevole sapidità e di buona persistenza in lunghezza.Il termine Frappato significa letteralmente fruttato, quasi a indicare quella che è la più importante caratteristica di uno tra i più coltivati vitigni a bacca rossa delle Terre Siciliane, che, per lappunto, si esprime in vini ricchi di frutto, scorrevoli e morbidi. Se poi andiamo a pensare che nella cucina della Grande Isola il pesce è un alimento quotidianamente presente, ecco che è facile capire il perché di questo vino, capace di sostituire gli ottimi bianchi siciliani, quando con il pesce questi ultimi non reggerebbero il confronto. Comunque generalmente versatile ed eclettico negli abbinamenti, quello targato Mandrarossa è un vino dal carattere gioviale e tipico, gentile e informale. Lasciato maturare almeno otto mesi in vasche di cemento, è un Frappato da tenere sempre di scorta in cantina, perché vi verrà voglia di berlo più spesso di quanto possiate immaginare.
Versatile ed eclettico negli abbinamenti gastronomici, è perfetto per accompagnare la zuppa di pesce al pomodoro.

I'm impressed. It's very good stuff

I'm finding that menopause skin is very, very dry skin. Combine that with a harsh winter and my skin was in much worst shape than normal. I usually had noticeably dry skin on my legs & arms but winter made it itchy & more flakey. I started using the Eucerin calming formula but that did nothing for the dryness but did moderately help lessen the itching.
I got online to see what I could do for the flaking skin, add moisture and curb the itching without having to go to a dermatologist because I didn't think I had a major issue. My reading recommended alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) formula moisturizers and from reading amlactin was very popular and received high marks but I wanted to look at & try a couple of things before I committed to just one as it's likely this will become part of my regular skin care and I'd need an affordable option. I discovered the Eucerin AHA formula on Amazon, liked the reviews & decided why not try it. The price point was very good compared to amlactin. I received the Eucerin 12/14/2017 and have used it religiously twice a day. The flakiness subsided in a week and the itch only occurs on my back where I can't reach to apply it. This stuff has been wonderful to apply to my skin. My skin is no longer flaky or ashy & the rough patches are gone from my knees & elbows.
This stuff is very heavy but it doesn't feel greasy to me because my skin soaks uses it in pretty quickly. I am not sure if I could use this in a hot, humid summer but for the current -20+ wind chills I'm living through, that heaviness is working in my favor. If you don't want to apply a heavy thick lotion to your skin or if that type of formula could cause a breakout, this isn't the moisturizer for you.
It doesn't really have a smell to me. Once I apply it I only smell the scent of my bee & flower sandalwood soap. This lotion is not scented so that's a plus for me.
Also unlike amlactin it does not contain parabens.
I did order the amlactin and will try it after this is gone but it's likely I will continue with the Eucerin AHA formula. It has worked very well for me. I've not done price shopping for this locally so I can't add anything in terms of costs on Amazon versus brick&mortar.
But if you can handle its heaviness I'd definitely recommend it.

BEST REPAIR HAND AND BODY CREAM!
Size: 16 Ounce (Pack of 1)
This is the best "repair" body/hand cream I've found, and I've tried quite a few. I have dogs and cats and I garden -- so I ALWAYS have scratches and tiny puncture woulds either from cats, dogs, rose bushes or cacti; and this Eucerin body cream helps to sooth and heal them quickly. I also notice that it helps relieve dryness very well, and once it soaks in, you aren't left feeling 'greasy'. It has no perfumes, and so is unscented.
