Een Campbeltown malt release als Single Cask is tegenwoordig zeldzaam en gewild. (Bovendien moeilijk verkrijgbaar, wij hebben een vat!)

Deze release loopt ongeveer gelijk op met de Harbor Cask 12 Years, deze is door logistieke redenen toch eerder in Nederland. 

De Harbor Cask serie wordt het verlengstuk van ons werk vanuit Katwijk aan Zee en Terschelling. Vanuit onze warehouses bouwen wij aan een netwerk van vaten, bottelingen en Schotse warehouses waarmee wij rechtstreeks samenwerken.

Voor deze release hebben wij bewust gekozen voor botteling in Schotland zelf, in plaats van import in bulk naar Nederland. Meer controle, meer authenticiteit en toegang tot whisky die normaal buiten bereik blijft.

Deze eerste release staat voor de klassieke Campbeltown stijl: krachtig, licht zilt, olieachtig en vol karakter. In deze serie wordt het smullen, Linkwood, Dalmore, Caol Ila, we zijn ze allemaal aan het oplijnen voor jullie want we bezitten heel wat vaten en die gaan we deels in Schotland met volledige naming rights laten bottelen! However, the gel pad inside (at the heel) was still working just fine. Anyway, this new set includes 2 pairs, with a gel pad inside each heel area. Results are truly amazing, I kid you not. You can use them without a moisturizer, but I like to put moisturizer on my heels, then wear these overnight, and in the morning my heels are soft, with no dry skin and NO cracks. I like the fact that these are kind of soft and fuzzy (outside), but I LOVE that they leave your toes exposed and cool (because my heels feel kind of warm from the moisturizer and gel pad). They are of good thickness, and I feel they will last a long time (of course remains to be seen). Highly recommend.
