De Elzas is de wijnsteek van zeer uiteenlopende stijlen wijn die doorgaans naar de betreffende druivensoort worden genoemd. Voor de meeste wijnliefhebbers kent de Elzas vooral milddroge witte wijnen die prima buiten de maaltijd om gedronken kan worden. Vrijwel elke elzaswijn is gemaakt van één enkele druivensoort. Zo zijn de Riesling, Gewürtztraminer en Pinot Blanc de meest bekende. De Gewurztraminer is ongetwijfeld de meest uitgesproken wijn. Deze Gewurztraminer komt van Domaine Engel. Hier worden de aloude Elzastradities gecombineerd met moderne wijntechniek. Bovendien zijn alle druiven afkomstig van eigen wijngaarden, van drie percelen in Bergheim en twee in Rorschwihr op ongeveer twintig kilometer van Colmar in de Elzas. Dat resulteert in fraaie, zuivere witte wijnen. Sinds 2006 hebben alle wijngaarden van Engel het biologisch Ecocert certificaat.Meer dan een jaar sur lie rijping voor deze Gewurztraminer
De oude stokken geven niet veel druiven maar wel complexe en zeer rijpe druiven. De hele trossen worden tegelijk geperst. Vervolgens vindt een koude schilweking van twaalf uur plaats. De gisting gebeurt in roestvrijstalen tanks op een gecontroleerde temperatuur van twintig graden. Daarna rijpt de wijn nog twaalf tot veertien maanden op de lie. Hierdoor wordt deze Gewurztraminer nog complexer. Deze lange periode geeft deze wijn zijn eigen karakter en hierdoor opvallend in de Alsace streek. In de geur aroma's van jonge rozen, lychees met onderliggende tonen van banaan en kaneel. Lichte toets van kruiden (nootmuskaat en kaneel). De smaak is rijp, licht zoetig, veel geel fruit en een kruidige ondertoon.Shipping Notes

Difficult to use and eventually hose end broke

I purchased this can of Fix-A-Flat to fix, what I believe, is a rim leak on my truck tire which needs to be filled once every week or so. When I attempted to use the product I let some air out of the tire (down to 25 psi) so it would be easier to dispense the contents. The instructions on the can say to have the valve on the tire at the 6 o'clock...which I did as well.
When I attempted to make the connection using the swivel connector on the can's hose it was difficult. The hose on the can is very short and stiff and because it came coiled in the can's lid, did not want to straighten out making connecting it to the tire a very awkward process. It was hard to screw the hose end on the valve without it binding so it felt like it was cross-threading. I have machined aluminum valve caps and they go one very easily so I know the threads on the tire's valve stem are clean.
I finally did get it on and when I attempted to dispense the contents it filled the hose but that was about it. I could not see any contents flowing thru the hose at all. I assumed it was not on far enough so I took it off to try again and the contents sprayed everywhere showing it was indeed under pressure....just not going into the tire. After multiple tries the hose end eventually just broke off and stayed on the tire's valve stem. I was able to get it off, but at this point the can is useless to me.
Obviously I cannot and will not recommend this product. I have used this product before and had success, but that was when the hose was longer and wired to the side of the can making it much easier to use, versus how they are shipped now. I would recommend going with another product or possible going to a box store (which is what I plan to do) to find one that does not have this design. At the very least, if you do choose to disregard this review, I would try it with the tire's valve stem at the 3 or 9 o'clock position which might make it easier to thread the hose end on to the valve stem,.
Also, if you choose to go this route you might just be throwing your money away. I attempted to get a refund from Amazon and was directed to the manufacture's web site. From there you are directed to use the 800 number of leave a general message that is in no way connected to your Amazon purchase. Past experience tells me it will not be an easy process so it looks like I am out the $12.

This is a necessity for anyone that tries a car!!

I haven’t used this yet, but I bought a case to give to my family members. My friend who came outside to a flat tire. It was a Sunday in Utah so there was really no one that could fix it. Walmart told her to get this product. She had to drive home immediately following using this product (300 miles) It has been over two months now and my niece is still driving on that tire. It was a brand new tire that was costly so she decided to just wait and see how long this product will work. Great gift for anyone in the family that drives. This does not work on a blown tire. If you wake up in the morning and your tire is flat, or you get out of class and your tire is flat, just use this product and no calls need to be made.

Great mini-compressor at a great price.
I bought this little guy to inflate tires on my two bikes. It works perfectly.
I especially like the set-it & forget-it design. Simply hook it to your valve stem. Once on the stem, it generates a digital reading of your current PSI. Then enter the desired pressure, press start and it starts pressurizing and counts up as they're inflating. Once the target is reached, it shuts-off automatically. What could be easier.
