Het dubbelgelede eivormige bit met D-vormige ringen heeft een licht beperkend effect en ligt rustig in de mond. Tegelijkertijd helpt het de gevoelige mondhoeken te beschermen. Het model maakt een directe overdracht van de teugels mogelijk.
