Château l'Evangile heeft geen officiele klassificatie, maar behoort tot de meest geroemde en bekendste wijnen van Bordeaux en de gehele wereld. Château l'Evangile is bezit van de Rothschild Group sinds 1990. Het domein is 14 ha groot en produceert (inclusief de tweede wijn) 5.000 dozen per jaar. Vinificatie:De alcoholische fermentatie geschiedt in cementen vaten en duurt 8-12 dagen. De wijn wordt daarna overgestoken naar houten barriques, waar deze gedurende 20-24 maanden rijpt.
