Airtec Motorsport stage 2 intercooler upgrade voor de Ford Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost, ontwikkeld om de koelprestaties aanzienlijk te verbeteren ten opzichte van de originele intercooler. Dit is vooral belangrijk bij voertuigen met software tuning waarbij hogere turbodruk zorgt voor oplopende inlaattemperaturen.

Om de beperkingen van de OEM-intercooler binnen de beschikbare ruimte achter de bumper op te lossen, heeft Airtec gekozen voor een high-flow twin-pass core ontwerp. Deze core is breder, hoger en dieper dan standaard, wat resulteert in een aanzienlijk groter frontaal oppervlak en een forse toename in capaciteit.

Dankzij de grotere core en de gegoten Airtec end tanks wordt de lucht efficiënter geleid en blijven de charge temperatures aanzienlijk lager onder belasting. Ondanks het grotere formaat past de intercooler netjes achter de originele bumper en is slechts lichte aanpassing aan het onderste grillegedeelte nodig.

De kit wordt compleet geleverd inclusief siliconen slangen, aluminium boost pipe aansluitingen, RVS slangklemmen en een duidelijke montagehandleiding. Montage duurt gemiddeld 2 tot 3 uur.
