Dit geweldige wijnhuis werd in 1650 opgericht. Ze behoren mede dankzij het privébezit van terroir Clos Saint Landelin tot de absolute top. De wijngaard is ongeveer 35 jaar oud en geeft echt hele mooie Pinot Gris druiven. Omdat de wortels zeer diep de grond in gaan, krijgen de druiven veel rijkdom met mineralen, kalk en frisheid. Sinds een jaar of tien bewerkt het domein zijn eigen wijngaarden volledig biologisch. Om de wijngaarden terug te brengen in de staat van de begin tijd, wordt er daarnaast geëxperimenteerd met dichte beplanting. Pierres Seches betekent droge stenen. Het terroir van Rouffach ligt in de sub heuvels van de Vogezen. Om hun wijnstokken te ontwikkelen, bouwden de oudsten terrassen met droge stenen Murén. Ze zorgen voor een goede afvoer van de klei en kalksteengrond en bieden ook goede omstandigheden voor de wijnstok.Handmatige oogst voor deze Pinot Gris Pierres Seches
De gehele oogst wordt met de hand gedaan om zo alleen de beste druiven in de fles te laten komen. De oogst gaat in kleine kratjes van twintig kilo naar de wijnmakerij en vervolgens krijgt de wijn alle aandacht die nodig is. Kwaliteit staat voorop en bij het gehele proces staat de geur en smaken van de wijn centraal. Wat resulteert in een prachtige geur van gele perzik en peer maar ook wat kleine nuances van verse abrikozen jam, honing en kardemom. De smaak is rond met veel finesse, mooie lange aanzet en een afdronk waar je u tegen zegt. Pinot Gris geeft een krokante wijn, droog met veel gastronomische kwaliteit. Has fit perfectly into my morning espresso

This seems to me to be an excellent small kitchen scale. I am new to the complexities of espresso making and have begun using this scale every morning to measure my dose and output. It is working just fine. Easy to operate, keep clean and store. I did not give it 5 stars because I have limited comparisons but I don’t expect and will not bother looking for anything better.

Perfectly fits what I needed for my espresso habit!

This Maestri House mini coffee scale is a great little tool for espresso and pour-over. The size is compact enough to fit under a portafilter or cup, and the 0.1g accuracy makes dialing in coffee much easier. Maestro House Mini Coffee Scale
I have begun to drink tea, pu’erh tea to be specific. I have several varieties and I have had a problem with getting consistent results. The varieties can be very different in size depending on when the leaves are harvested (leaves harvested in spring are much smaller). So the easiest way to get consistent results is by weight. This scale is very easy to use with a ceramic tea scoop, set the tea scoop on the scale, zero it out and add tea leaves. This has made my results much better, without the wild swings in strength I had been getting before trying to eyeball even measures. This scale gives me accurate measurements to one tenth of a gram.

Mostly great, except one little annoyance

Pros- lightweight, small, very accurate, easy to clean, timer included.
Cons- I use this to brew espresso on my Breville Touch and to get an accurate reading, you have to place something flat (structured) under the scale. Otherwise the reading just jumps all over the place. I know lot of espresso machines have the same base, so this might be an issue for some!
This is my reason for 4/5 stars. It’s an easy fix, it’s just kind of annoying. Value for the price seems to be on point. It’s easy to clean. It has a timer as well as scale (nice for espresso). Buttons work the first time you push them.
