In deze uitbreiding draait alles om invloed, traditie en de kunst van de Japanse theeceremonie. Beïnvloed de machtige figuren van het hof en vergroot jouw prestige door geisha’s en theekloppers (chasen) strategisch te gebruiken. Hoe speel je Het Witte Kasteel van Himeji: Matcha?
Voeg tijdens de standaard voorbereiding de groene brug en dobbelstenen toe. Gebruik gedurende het spel chasen om je geisha’s naar strategische plekken in de theetuin of theekamer te verplaatsen en voer acties op ceremonietegels uit om extra voordelen te behalen. Iedere speler krijgt ook 1 extra actie tijdens zijn beurt. Na een aantal beurten worden nu de overgebleven bonussen en geisha’s geactiveerd voor extra bonussen en na drie rondes krijgen spelers punten voor hun invloed in de theekamer, ceremonietegels, geisha-posities en overgebleven middelen. Net als in het origineel wint de speler met de meeste punten.
