Een mooie, vlezige wijn van het Chileense wijnhuis Montes. Met een dieprode kleur en allereerst allerlei rood fruit in de geur (aardbei, pruim, kers). Een volle, mondvullende wijn waar jam, maar ook vanille en mokka in te ontdekken is. Dit alles ondersteund door een prettig toast-effect van het eikenhout. 

Spijs & moment
Deze Cabernet-Carmenère is een wijn om op tafel te zetten of later op de avond open te trekken. In de zomer past hij geweldig bij gegrild rood vlees van de barbecue (hamburgers, steak, rib-eye). In de winter staat hij ook zijn mannetje bij stoofpotten en lamsvlees. En anders na het eten bij een plank met wat meer gerijpte kazen.
