This model includes a scrap collector for convenient fiber debris disposal. Replacement blades are available under the part number 5FB-1688-BLADE.
The FB-1688C is suitable for cleaving single fibers with 250 μm or 900 μm coatings, as well as 3 mm drop cables. It comes with a 4-in-1 fiber holder accommodating 250 μm, 900 μm, 3 mm, and butterfly cables.
