Strut Mount, Street Density, Volkswagen & Audi MQB and MQB EVOStreet Density: The Street Density Strut Mount is available in 60 or 70 durometer rubber options and is fully vulcanized to the center cups, significantly increasing its lifespan and performance over factory mounts. The steel strut mount bodies have also been redesigned to cope with the added stresses of spirited driving. The result is a significant reduction in the strut mount's deflection. These mounts will also eliminate the annoying "squeaking"

Street Density:

The Street Density Strut Mount is available in 60 or 70 durometer rubber options and is fully vulcanized to the center cups, significantly increasing its lifespan and performance over factory mounts.

The steel strut mount bodies have also been redesigned to cope with the added stresses of spirited driving.

The result is a significant reduction in the strut mount's deflection. These mounts will also eliminate the annoying "squeaking" sound often caused by the stock strut mounts when paired with coilover suspensions. Street Density Strut Mounts will only cause a minimal increase in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) inside the cabin. These mounts are a completely re-engineered performance solution, not just inserts for use with the factory mounts.

Which mount should I choose?

Our 60-durometer Street-Density Strut Mounts are a great option if you’re looking for an OEM+-oriented upgrade. They offer better performance than factory mounts without compromising comfort. These mounts produce slightly more NVH than factory mounts. 70 Durometer Street Density Strut Mounts are our performance-oriented mounts. They offer the best performance while introducing some NVH into the cabin. This stiffer rubber durometer further reduces deflection in the front suspension, resulting in more precise handling and steering under heavy load.

Features:

  • Manufactured from 60 or 70 Durometer Rubber

High-Durometer Rubber vs. Polyurethane:

Density Line Mounts are manufactured from high-durometer rubber instead of polyurethane for a number of reasons. While vulcanized rubber mounts are more expensive to prototype due to increased complexity of manufacturing and high initial tooling costs, rubber is inherently better than polyurethane as a damping medium for mounts and bushings.

Rubber is able to deal with stress under both tension and compression, while polyurethane mounts rely on the damping medium to be effective only under compression. Rubber is also excellent in shear, where polyurethane is ineffective, making it ideal for suspension bushings that apply a shear force to the bushing during articulation.

Rubber does not pack and wear like polyurethane does, which ultimately results in a long-lasting part with consistent performance and comfort.

Technical Insight:

While the redesigned Volkswagen/Audi strut mount for the MkVII and 8V/8S chassis was a great improvement over the previous generations of strut mounts, they leave much to be desired when paired with performance dampers or coilover suspensions.

Many owners experience a "squeaking" sound coming from the front strut mounts after installing performance dampers or coilover suspensions. The noise becomes noticeable when pulling out of driveways, going over speed bumps, or traveling at low speed over uneven surfaces.

This "squeaking" is caused by the low durometer rubber used in the factory strut mounts, which causes the steel center cup to move inside of the rubber mount. Our Track Density Strut Mount Pair was designed to eliminate this annoying issue, and improve the performance of the vehicle's suspension.

Please Note: One vehicle requires 2 mounts.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
