Alma was discovered in an old hay barn in a bombed village in Ukraine. She was barely surviving and not bearing weight on one of her front legs.
The poor dog is emaciated and clearly in pain, but continues to wag her tail.
She was rushed to a clinic where a vet performed an X-ray on her swollen paw and discovered that she has cancer.
She needs her leg amputated to save her life and prevent the cancer from spreading. After surgery, she will also need months of nutritious food and rehab to regain her strength and walk again.
