Awarded 90 points by James Halliday.

Appearance

Palest lemon with green hues — the delicate, luminous colour of a cool climate Adelaide Hills Blanc de Blancs grown on ancient gravel and limestone soils at elevation, with the clarity and precision that minimum intervention winemaking and careful lees ageing deliver.

Aroma

Lemon sorbet, nashi pear, toasted muesli, and grapefruit zest — with spicy red apple and crunchy lemon character from the cool heights of The Lane Vineyard, well complemented by the toasty, biscuity, honeyed complexity of lees age and a portion of maturation in large old puncheons and foudres. Expressive, layered, and immediately inviting.

Palate

Crunchy green apple, lemon, and lime with a fine tight bead and taut acid length — a dosage of 8g/L well integrated on a long finish. The result, as James Halliday noted, is “an appealing and value-for-money Adelaide Hills fizz” — with the true sense of place and minimum intervention character that define The Lane Vineyard Block Series.

Pairs With

Fresh oysters, grilled fish, soft cheeses, smoked salmon, and delicate canapés — or simply as a fresh and elegant apéritif for any occasion. The fine tight bead, taut acidity, and lemon and lime fruit make Lois Blanc de Blancs a natural and deeply enjoyable partner for light cuisine of every kind. Serve well chilled.

Winemaking Notes

100% Chardonnay grown on cool south-facing sites at The Lane Vineyard, Adelaide Hills — ancient soils of gravel with limestone, calcium silicates, and ferrous pebbles spread throughout. Shoot thinned early in the season to enhance vine balance, even ripening, and focused flavour development. A portion of the wine is matured in large old puncheons and foudres for toasty, biscuity complexity. Finished with a dosage of 8g/L, well integrated on a long finish. Minimum intervention winemaking allows the vineyard to do the talking.

Producer History

The Lane Vineyard is one of the Adelaide Hills’ most respected and distinctive producers — a family winery whose Block Series wines are defined by true varietal character, terroir expression, and minimum intervention winemaking. Block numbers on each label indicate the precise patch within the vineyard where the fruit is grown, with Google Earth coordinates printed on the label as a statement of transparency and place. Ancient soils, cool elevation, and an unwavering commitment to letting the vineyard do the talking — Lois Blanc de Blancs is the fullest expression of that philosophy: stylish, fresh, fruit-driven, and with a true sense of place in every fine, tight bubble.

poli glow shine
its works great .when applying more coats the shinier it gets i used on several old boats because the florida sun bakes the jell coat right off and no wax made can withstand salty seas , so why not ,, when you apply use the mit and don't gob it on .. nice and easy and recoat in five minutes when you get to about five coats you will be amazed.looks like new .. just a tip also after about a year or so and you want to re apply,, go to your local hardware store and get a gallon of high strength or non diluted floor stripper and put in spray bottle and use to remove old poli-glow also great for cleaning stubborn stains [ i use full strength ] just spray on and brush with a scrub brush and rinse ..and let dry and re apply ,, its also works on car faded bumpers ,, also never use harsh cleaners it will cause streaking the best thing i have found for cleaning the boat after poli glow was put on is car wash from auto store with wax or not it seems not to hurt the shine . it reminds me of mop an glow,,.

Poli Glow used on bottom portion of the picture
Just put it on 21 foot RV, was impressed with the shine. Key is to make sure the applicator is moist. I periodically dampen with water. Realizing it wasn't going to revive the stickers. Question is How long it will last? What will it look like after it rains? Pictures attached, bottom portion was done with poli glow on June 7,2026 and I have just under a half of bottle left. Maybe I will update once it rains or how long the shine last.

Wish I Had Used This Sooner – Stop Debating and Just Buy It!
Wish I Had Used This Sooner – Stop Debating and Just Buy It! After a lot of debate, extensive research, and way too many hours spent buffing my RV with other products that never fully delivered the results I was after, I finally tried Poli Glow—and I am extremely happy I did. My only regret is not using it sooner instead of letting other people's opinions talk me out of it. The difference in how my RV looks after applying Poli Glow is genuinely impressive. The high-gloss finish it lays down on the fiberglass is deep, clean, and long-lasting in a way that the other products I tried simply could not match. The application process with the included mitt is straightforward and far less labor-intensive than traditional buffing and polishing methods, which alone makes it worth switching to. The hydrophobic properties mean water beads and rolls off beautifully, and knowing the UV protection is working to shield the fiberglass from the relentless Las Vegas sun gives real peace of mind for long-term appearance and protection. For anyone who has been going back and forth on whether to try Poli Glow or sticking with whatever you've been using—stop debating, stop listening to everyone else's opinion, and just try it. The results speak for themselves and I won't be using anything else on my RV going forward. Highest possible recommendation.
