Jazzin' the Blues AwayThe Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra's fourth CD for Rivermont spotlights rare and delightful orchestrations from the Johnny Maddox collection. The Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra's fourth CD for Rivermont spotlights rare and delightful orchestrations from the Johnny Maddox collection. Maddox was perhaps the most popular ragtime pianist of the 1950s and '60s, and over the course of 80+ years, he amassed an extensive collection of ragtime era sheet music, including some 1,500 orchestrations salvaged from theater music libraries, the estates of former bandleaders, antique stores, and elsewhere. Andrew Greene and the PRSO have selected nearly two dozen of these musical gems, ranging from the fiery, bombastic "Listen to That Dixie Band" and "Mr. Trombonology" to the charmingly elegant "Bouclaire Waltzes." Many of these 100-year-old arrangements are recorded here for the first time -- in crisp, high definition 24-bit sound that makes for a sumptuous, thrilling listening experience when played on good equipment. The CD includes a lavish 32-page color illustrated booklet with extensive commentary by PRSO director Andrew Greene and guest pianist Adam Swanson. Features vocals by William Edwards, an audience favorite wherever the orchestra plays. Two bonus tracks feature previously unreleased piano duets by Adam Swanson and Johnny Maddox himself. 76 minutes.

Note: A digital download version is also available for this title in high-quality MP3 format. The download version includes a PDF digital booklet containing all of the text and images found in the physical CD booklet. Buyers selecting the digital download will receive a download link by e-mail upon completion of checkout.

Great purchase!
My child is 14 months and has been on the move for a long time, these shoes are so great, he moves great in them and never has a problem wearing them! They are slightly narrow so the strap doesn’t go all the way, but has never come undone!

Worth every penny
My son’s favorite shoes! High quality, very durable, look nice even when they aren’t freshly cleaned. Easy to take on and off. Definitely worth the money! This color tends to go with everything. Such great support.

Nice looking shoes, Saucony is always very durable for my child and myself. Very comfortable and fit perfectly. Great for just hanging out or running.

Love this style
This is a great playground shoe for my 4th grader. I love the unisex design. These shoes usually last 6 mo - until we need next size- but aren’t in same spotless shape that Keens are for passing down to next sibling. Still, they are far from bad shape after six months of abuse. Way better than UA or Nikes in our experience. I had adult version and had heavy rotation with other shoes, and still lasted 5 years before I gave to my growing son, and he trashed them in 6 mo wearing as lawn mowing shoes. As an adult, I add an arch support or metatarsal support insole. My kid hasn’t indicated it needs one for comfort - but it’s not as cushy at all compared to Saucony running shoes.
