AOÛT 1980 : Suite au licenciement injustifié d'Anna Walentynowicz, employée à quelques mois de la retraite, ses collègues des chantiers navals de Gdansk organisent une grève générale de solidarité. Le mouvement prend une ampleur insoupçonnée et va avoir des conséquences irrémédiables sur toute la société polonaise, et par extension sur le bloc soviétique.
Co-réalisé par Andrzej Chodakowski et Andrzej Zajączkowski, dont les membres de l’équipe de tournage furent les seuls polonais autorisés au sein des chantiers navals pendant la grève, ce documentaire bouillonnant s’approche au plus près de la réalité ouvrière, des tractations en coulisses avec le pouvoir, des conditions d’occupation, et montre l’importance progressive que va prendre Lech Wałęsa dans le paysage politique. Non content d’avoir validé la mise en production de ce document incroyable, Andrzej Wajda en utilisera également certaines images, impossibles à reproduire au sein d’une fiction, pour son propre HOMME DE FER. Une véritable page d'histoire en direct.
Disponible pour la toute première fois en France, le film est présenté en Blu-Ray dans sa dernière restauration 4K.

Wonderful for dry feet

X-Large is about a size 12-13 shoe size foot USA.

I love them they work fantastic. I am a big guy with swollen feet. Wear size 12 to 13 USA Shoes. They fit me just fine not tight. My feet felt good after wearing them for two days. Some dry skin pulled off with them and it says to wash by hand. I dont know about the durability but I am hoping to get about 5 uses per pair. Before they become unusable.
