The WISY RainCatcher connects to a single vertical rainwater downspout and can filter large debris such as leaves and sticks from a roof area up to 1,600 square feet for garden irrigation*. The filter is installed above-grade in the vertical rainwater downpiping to direct debris to the stormwater system and divert 90% of rainwater to the storage tank or rain barrel. The filter also operates as a first flush device. This filter should only be used with round downspouts or with a converter kit providing at least 20” of vertical round pipe above the filter.
The WISY RainCatcher can be installed in vertical metal or plastic downspouts. The device provides overflow protection and diversion when the collection tank is full.
The housing is made of UV-resistant polypropylene and has a 10-year guarantee.
*Due to this product not having a filter element, it is recommended that the water is only used for irrigation. If other uses are desired, please look at the other line of downspout filters.
White is the default housing color however, Brown and Gray are available as special orders.
