A stunning example of Eastman’s highly regarded AC122-1CE Deluxe, presented in near mint condition and purchased new in 2024 by its only owner. This guitar has lived a comfortable home life and remains beautifully cared for throughout, showing only the lightest signs of use including a few minor play marks to the pickguard.
If you’ve spent any time researching premium acoustic guitars in recent years, you’ll know Eastman have built an exceptional reputation for producing instruments that punch well above their price point. The AC122-1CE Deluxe is a perfect example, combining all-solid tonewoods, impeccable craftsmanship and outstanding playability in a package that rivals guitars costing considerably more.
The heart of the guitar is its Thermo-Cure Solid Sitka Spruce top. This specialised ageing process gives the instrument the mature, open response of a guitar that has been played and loved for years, delivering excellent projection, clarity and warmth straight out of the case. Paired with solid Sapele back and sides, the result is a beautifully balanced acoustic voice with rich lows, articulate mids and sparkling highs.
The comfortable Mahogany neck features Eastman’s Traditional Even “C” profile and an Ebony fingerboard with 22 Jescar frets, making it effortless to play whether you’re fingerpicking delicate passages or strumming full-bodied chords. The cutaway design provides easy access to the upper frets, while the Fishman Presys VT system faithfully captures the guitar’s natural acoustic character when amplified.
Cosmetically the guitar is excellent throughout. The Natural finish showcases the grain of the solid tonewoods beautifully, complemented by tortoise binding, tortoise pickguard, pearl headstock logo and quality nickel hardware. It really is a classy, understated instrument.
