Description:
UK ties with Saudi Arabia and the other Gulf monarchies are under the spotlight as never before. Huge controversy surrounds Britain™s alliances with these deeply repressive regimes, and the UK™s key supporting role in the disastrous Saudi-led intervention in Yemen has lent added urgency to the debate. What lies behind the British government™s decision to place politics before principles in the Gulf? Why have Anglo-Arabian relations grown even closer in recent years, despite ongoing, egregious human rights violations? In this ground-breaking analysis, David Wearing argues that the Gulf Arab monarchies constitute the UK™s most important and lucrative alliances in the global south. They are central both to the British government™s ambitions to retain its status in the world system, and to its post-Brexit economic strategy. Exploring the complex and intertwined structures of UK-Gulf relations in trade and investment, arms sales and military cooperation, and energy, Wearing shines a light on the shocking lengths to which the British state has gone in order to support these regimes. As these issues continue to make the headlines, this book lifts the lid on ÂAngloArabia™ and what™s at stake for both sides.

A timely introduction for classical retrieval
Format: Paperback
Bray has written a very accessible introduction to the attributes of God, with the proper distinctions between God’s essential attributes and his relational attributes. Bray does well in showing the necessity of the essential attributes as the foundation to the manifestation of God’s relational attributes to mankind, firmly anchoring them in the biblical text. I appreciate that he provided glimpses of the historical development of the attributes, interacting with some of the objections to the essential (i.e., classical) attributes and then exposing the reader to some of the best scholarship in response to the objections. The appendix ends the book with an historical survey of the attributes in the Christian tradition. Those unfamiliar with the development of classical theism will be brought up to speed, just enough to see the rich heritage of the classical attributes of God. I will be referring those new to systematic theology or are unfamiliar with the classical doctrine of God to this introductory work. It’s a great read and desperately needed due to the construals of God being promoted in modern theology.

Great addition to my sink!
Color: Black, Color: Black
This is a great sink organizer. I like a place for everything, and to hang up our dish cloth when done using it. We had a suction cup holder for that purpose but it broke several weeks ago. When this came in I noticed the 'washcloth bar' was just as another reviewer noted....pretty useless, unless you find a way to glue it down, so I chose to just toss that piece. We hang the cloth on the front fork piece, but that is also not secure and kept falling off. The simple solution for me was using some electrical tape to secure it. Not even noticeable and now works beautifully. Love the drainage with the sloped bottom, and having a spot for all the little thing we need handy at the sink.
Highly recommend!
