Diatomaceous Earth can be used for dusting green houses, dusting fruit, flower and vegetable crops. Can be done even on day of harvesting crops with no harm to animals or humans as it is pure and organic. Don't dust when Bees are present.

Please Note: Although this fossil shell flour is food grade, it has not been sterilised, hence is it NOT suitable for human consumption.

Specifications:

  • Particle size:  Ranges from 80% Super Fine Grade with some 20% particles up to 2mm - 20 to 200 UM size particles.

Suggestions For Use:

Around the Home

  • Outside areas – approx. 250g – 500g per 100 square metres (dry powder)
  • As a liquid spray – approx. 250g per 4 litres water
  • Lightly sprinkle in carpets

Please Note:

  • Bucket lid colour may vary between clear or white depending on stock availability.

Livestock and Pets

Feed rates for livestock and domestic pets vary due to the differences in farm practices and animal size. Suggested feed rates are as follows:

Animal Initial Rate Ongoing
Dairy and Beef Cattle 5% of dry feed per day for 90days (300g)  2% of dry feed per day (130g)
Goats, sheep, pigs 10% of dry feed per day for 90 days 5% of dry feed or grain per day
Horses, Donkeys ½ to 1 cup in feed per day 2% per day
Chickens, Ducks 15% of dry feed per day 5-15% per day
Large dogs (>50kg) 1-2 heaped tablespoons per day
Large dogs (>35kg) 1 tablespoon per day
Medium dogs (15-35kg) ½ - 1 tablespoon per day
Small dogs (<15kg) 1 teaspoon per day
Puppies ½ to 1 teaspoon per day
Cats 1 teaspoon per day
Kittens ½ teaspoon per day


Horticulture

  • Before planting – use 2-5 kgs per 15 metre row
  • Mixing with soil – 250g to a hole 300mm wide by 300mm deep
  • 500g to 8 litres water to spray top and underside of leaves
  • Approximate coverage for gardens:
  • 250g will treat 25 square metres
  • 500g will treat 50 square metres

Agriculture

  • As anti-caking agent in grain – 2% per volume
  • Agricultural farming – approximately 1000kgs per hectare per year*

* High quality silica has a residual effect when used in soil and depending on the soil conditions prior to first application its subsequent application rate will most likely be reduced and may even be unnecessary for a period of 1 to 3 years.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

This book wasn't bad, but wasn't my cup of tea. It's highly disappointing because the storyline is so original. There is no real conflict or resolution, so the entire thing feels flat. As a lover of omegaverse books, I know there is a ton of variety out there, and ov is really up to the author. But this one is weird. Omegas have multiple scent glands all over their bodies and go into week long heats every month. Alphas have knots in the middle of their shaft instead of the base, and the knot doesn't always swell, no explanation of when or why. It doesn't engage at all when the mouth is in play. I also didn't enjoy the author's writing style. Each paragraph is only 1 or 2 sentences long, and the entire book reads very stacato. The conversations are stiff and unnatural feeling. Everything is very repetitive, both in word choice and in thought. The same thing is repeated 3 or 4 times over a single page, multiple times over. I ended up doing so much skimming. The first 50% of the book is all slow burn, and the last 50% is almost straight mediocre spice. This wouldn't have been all bad if the grammar and spelling errors didn't start at the exact same time. Tongue is repeatedly misspelled in the middle of the spice.
