The RadioMaster AX12 Android Radio Controller is built for pilots and builders who want more than a standard RC transmitter. Combining RadioMasterOS, an Android-based control environment, with built-in ExpressLRS 2.4GHz / Sub-G 900MHz capability, the AX12 gives you a flexible platform for FPV drones, RC aircraft, ground vehicles, boats, robotics, telemetry tools, and supported mission-planning apps.

At the center of the AX12 is a bright 5.5-inch HD IPS touchscreen with 1280 × 720 resolution and 1,000 nits brightness, making it easy to view menus, telemetry, apps, and supported video feeds outdoors. With an octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage, the AX12 is ready for compatible Android apps, model setup tools, mapping utilities, and configuration workflows.

For control, the AX12 supports up to 16 channels depending on receiver setup and includes advanced transmitter features such as custom curves, mixing, model templates, voice prompts, Lua script support, and channel mapping. The built-in ExpressLRS RF system is based around 2.4GHz or Sub-G 900MHz operation, giving pilots modern low-latency ELRS performance in a compact, touchscreen-equipped radio.

The AX12 also stands out as a field-ready video and ground-station tool. HDMI input allows compatible digital video systems to display on the radio’s built-in screen, while HDMI output can mirror the display to an external monitor for teaching, review, team flying, or live demonstrations. MAVLink passthrough support also allows compatible apps such as QGroundControl and Betaflight Configurator to be used directly from the transmitter in supported workflows.
