At first touch, this PRS is a seamlessly accessible instrument.
The electronics on the SE Hollowbody II Piezo are groundbreaking for electric guitars at large. This PRS is designed with two discrete volume controls, one for magnetics and one for its piezo acoustic pickup. When used in combination with the guitar's "Mix/Piezo" jack, players can harness both electronics configurations, 58/15 "S" humbuckers and piezo, to summon a colorful canvas of acoustic and electric tones. Alternatively, players can plug into the jacks separately to run the magnetic pickups into an amplifier onstage while the piezo's acoustic tones go to a DI or an acoustic amp.
