With a .525" maximum lift, these Beehive Valve Springs were designed for hydraulic or Solid flat tappet as well as hydraulic Roller cams. They work in most Small Block Chevy heads with no machining. This is achieved with less spring pressure for better valve control and reduced weight of both the spring and retainer. The unique Beehive shape handles valve train stress more efficiently to eliminate damaging harmonics and increases high RPM horsepower and durability. The oval/multi-arc wire shape places the maximum area of the wire at the point of highest stress to handle valve train stress more efficiently and allow better heat dissipation for longer life. Time will tell
I’m always weary about how little or how much I spend on wiper blades. Typically wiper blades are a great example of you get what you pay for. When I’m looking to replace blades, though, I’ll often try and see what’s out there before I go spend $25 a piece on wipers. I came across these and they’re highly praised and so I figured why not. I cannot speak on their durability and longevity, but I can comment on my experience with them so far.
These are plastic blades. Keep that in mind. They are not heavy or rigid like a metal blade, but also don’t feel super cheap either. The quality of plastic seems adequate for what these things cost. Install is easy, and shouldn’t take more than a few minutes. What I’m very impressed with is how clean of a wipe it makes. They don’t leave anything behind and I haven’t experienced any chatter. I don’t expect these to last as long as premium blades, but I also don’t make gamble purchases like this expecting unrealistic results. If they do happen to have a decent lifespan, then it’s a pleasant surprise and a great value.
