When to Replace

- The cable is seized inside the outer casing due to rust or accumulated debris.
- The Z-bend ends are bent out of shape or fatigued, risking detachment during operation.
Installation Tips
- Disconnect the spark plug wire before beginning any work on the mower deck or engine controls.
- Note the routing path of the original cable and the position of the clip fasteners before removal.
- Secure the lower Z-bend to the engine brake bracket first, then route the cable up to the handle control.
- Use pliers to gently compress the retaining clip when removing the old conduit from the handle mounting point.
