It has gorgeous grain and hints of spalting. The color is a warm brown that is rather, well, peachy! It has a minor branch coming off the back of the blank, about mid way up. UFO Peach Bowl Blank Ph-433 3" x 7.5" x 12.5" 5.5 lbs. This is a sizeable bowl blank of Texas-grown UFO Peach wood. It has gorgeous grain and hints of spalting. The color is a warm brown that is rather, well, peachy! It has a minor branch coming off the back of the blank, about mid-way up. There is some very pretty swirling grain associated with the branch / crotch area at mid-block. You may be able to turn several small bowls or other pieces out of this blank if you cut it in half. There is some spalting and bug-assisted decay, but the wood has plenty of integrity. There are also some moderate-sized drying checks starting to appear, despite the block being well-sealed with Anchor Seal. (Fruit tree wood tends to want to crack as it dries). You may want to touch up with CA glue as you turn. This wood was from a tree grown in Katy, Texas. It died during the Valentine's Day freeze of 2021. We cut and sealed it with Anchor Seal shortly after it died, then let it rest and spalt for about a year before processing it. We have very limited quantities of this unusual-to-Texas wood. This is a GREEN to partially air-dried bowl blank, meaning that it still retains a lot of its original moisture from when it was a living tree. It has been well-sealed on all surfaces with Anchor Seal and is in the process of slowly drying. It has been heat-treated to eliminate any gnawing critters. It was measured at ~25% MC in May 2022. My dog loves them...but
Size: Small
The ball is firm, durable and bounces well, but the squeaker is a disappointment. My 16 lb chihuahua doxie mix is obsessed with squeaky toys. I bought the small size which is a good fit. These balls are a bit firm and hard to squeak but she is still able to squeak them endlessly. The squeaker only lasts a couple of weeks then it's just a ball that she ignores.

This is a great ball for high energy dogs.

I have a Belgian Malinois, so you can imagine the Maligator jaws. Just opened this today and let her play with it indoors. She LOVES IT. It wore her out and it’s a toy she can really stay focused on without needing me to throw or roll for her. It moves on its own! I supervised her play. I was hoping it was too big to get under the couch, but no. It goes right under it. I had to block off the gap so I didn’t have to keep getting it out from under for her. The outter “shell” is very durable! When she had resting moments, she chewed it pretty good - I could hear the material squeaking against her teeth. I was worried she was tearing it up, but nope! Not a mark on it. It’s easy to set up and operate. It needed charging before play. After hours of play, she was able to somehow unscrew the outter shell. This concerned me bc the smaller, inner ball mechanism came out but I saw it right away and was able to put it back together. So, make sure it’s screwed together tightly (which I thought I had done without breaking it) and check it from time to time to make sure it hasn’t loosened. This is a great ball for her incredible high energy drive. It gives her the work and fun play she needs to get tired, which I love. This toy is on the expensive end, but so far it’s worth it. Now we’ll see how long it lasts!

Love love it

Best dog toy ever. I have a 1 year old boxer who is full of energy (understatement). This ball has provided more entertainment for us both than any dog toy I’ve ever purchased. Charge holds well and has a very resilient shell. I love it. Worth the price.
