1980年代のSPHINXのバードモチーフブローチ。木にとまる鳥がゴールドトーンメタルで表現され、瞳にはダークレッドのストーンがセットされています。

つるりとした鳥のボディ、繊細なテクスチャーが施された足や木の枝が美しく、生き生きとした美しさ。長い尾を広げた鳥のシルエットが、優雅さを感じさせます。

身に纏えば装いに華やかさが加わり、コーディネートのアクセントになってくれるお品。

1948年にイギリスで創業したジュエリーカンパニー。まるで本物のジュエリーに見える、高品質で美しいデザインのコスチュームジュエリーを制作していました。自社製品の他にもKenneth Jay Lane、Nina Ricciなどのデザイナーや、ヨーロッパやアメリカの高級デパート向けにジュエリーデザインを手掛けていました。
刻印には"SPHINX"とシリアルナンバー、またはどちらか一方が刻まれましたが、需要を満たすために刻印をせず、急いで出荷していた時期も。会社は1990年代後半に閉業しました。
