Description:
China?s struggle for the rule of law is at a critical
juncture. As a key element of governance in the PRC today,
China?s legal system affects not only domestic affairs but
also China?s engagement with the world. But can a credible
legal system emerge which protects the rights of citizens and
international partners without undermining the power of the Party
State? And is the Chinese Communist Party willing to embark on
judicial reforms that may jeopardize its very survival?
Understanding the PRC legal system is increasingly important as
China rises to prominence in the world. In this compelling
analysis, noted legal scholar Pitman Potter examines the ideals and
practices of China?s legal regime, in light of international
standards and local conditions. Against a rich historical backdrop,
Potter explains how China?s legal system supports three key
policy objectives; namely, political stability, economic
prosperity, and social development. In exploring these competing
policy goals and the tensions between them, he also raises
fundamental questions about government expectations of the role of
law in regulating local and international socio-economic and
political relationships.
This wide-ranging and readable introduction will be an invaluable
guide for students and non-specialists interested in China?s
ongoing process of legal modernization.

Sizes Run Small
Size: X-Large, Color: Classic Blue
Love the fabric & colors. Amazon delivered on time. But, be aware, the sizes run SMALL. I have 15 year old size large dress shirts that I bought at Kohl's that fit perfectly but are showing their age. I tried a size large in these & they are too small. An XL fits perfectly.

Adorable, Complete Set—Great for Special Occasions
Color: Beige, Size: 12, Color: Beige, Size: 12
This suit set is such a great find! It comes with everything you need—jacket, pants, shirt, tie, and bow tie—which makes getting a dressed-up look so easy. It's excellent quality for a suit in this price range.
The linen fabric gives it a nice, lightweight feel and a polished look that works well for both formal and semi-casual events. My son looked adorable in it, and it was perfect for the spring wedding we attended.
What I love:
Complete 5-piece set—no need to buy extras
Lightweight and comfortable material
Classic, stylish look with nice details (lapel, pockets, etc.)
Adjustable waistband is super helpful for fit
Versatile for weddings, holidays, and other events
Fit was true to size based on the chart, but I agree with the recommendation—if your child is between sizes or growing quickly, sizing up is a good idea. I sized up with the hopes that he can wear it again for another event because it looks fantastic!
Overall, a really cute and practical suit set that looks great without being uncomfortable. Perfect for any special event
