This heavyweight shift knob feels like butter in palm of your hand, thanks due to the black alcantara that it's wrapped in. Weighing in at approximately 205 grams the added inertial mass makes shifting effort substantially less while speeding up the process at the same time. While we've borrowed inspiration from shift knobs past, we think we've really perfected the proportions this time around- with the 3/4 alcantara to metal ratio. Visually this thing leaves nothing to be desired. The machining is top notch, and the detailed crest coin gives that classy yet sporting look which elevates any interior's level by at least 50 cool points.
The included adapter is used to work with just about any VW/Audi shift lever. The knob's adapter is secured using three set screws for all models.
You might think that this is a lot of hype for such a little part, but try telling that to us once you've had the chance to hold one of these guys in your hand.

- Our shift knobs will sit at or near the stock height on most vehicles. One exception is the MK7 GTI & Golf R which has a 'hollow' shift knob and shorter selector shaft height. This means our shift knob will sit noticeably lower than stock. If you would prefer your MK7 GTI / R to sit near stock height, you may purchase this additional adapter.
- The BFI crest coin included with this shift knob is silver plated and may tarnish over time. We recommend lightly polishing the coin with silver jewelry polish to restore its original luster.
- Alcantara requires periodic cleaning to maintain it's color and soft feel.

Machine stopped working after factory warranty expired
My Cricut Maker 3 stopped working after 2.5 years and luckily I had bought this insurance for 3 years. I summited my claim and Asurion provided a UPS prepaid shipping label, I had to pack the machine and send it but I did not have a box beg enough to put the machine so it took me around 5 days to find one. When I tried to print the shipping label, it was not working so I contacted Asurion customer service, the customer service associate was very friendly and helped me to get a new shipping label. Did no have any issues, so would recommend to get this protection in case your factory warranty runs out.

NO WARRANTY EVEN IF YOU PAY EXTRA FOR IT.
Beware
I purchased a casement window air conditioner AND the asurion 3 year warranty extension for the unit. The air conditioner was faulty from day one in that the temperature control did NOT control temperature and the compressor would not stay on unless the unit was set at the minimum 62 F setting. I called the manufacturer/distributor of the air conditioner and they informed me that there was NO WARRANTY on the unit because it was sold by a third party. The unit was only warranted if it was purchased directly from the distributor themselves.
I then checked with the extended warranty company *asurion" and was told they would not warrantly the product until after 12 months subsequent from purchase.
I highly suggest that anyone concerned with receiving a working product from Amazon should take care to investigate thoroughly before placing an order.
I contacted Amazon and they will replace or refund these items however I see no choice but to get a refund. Replacement with a non-warrantied product seems like something even a very foolish person would not consider.
Asurion's policy on not honoring it's extended warranty until 12 months after purchase is also hmmmmm unusual and makes their warranty products a questionable purchase.
